Welcome to Mexico!
Christmas 2008



Kirsten, Manuel, Maren, Bob and I went to Mexico December 21, 2008.  We were given warm hospitality by Manuel's father and family.  We stayed in the hotel owned by Manuel Cabanas (Sr.) and ate most of our meals there.
Pictured above is the hotel (Hotel Posada San Pedro) restaurant.  (In Puebla).

Picture below is the hotel courtyard... AND one of the apple street decorations, similar to horses or ducks in cities in the US.


Below is one of the many Nativity displays in Puebla. Below right is Kirsten taking part in a Posada... a Christmas tradition seeking shelter for the Christ Child.
